12 Month Checkup!
Henry is doing great, as expected. He's just over 20 lbs. and now stands 30 1/2 inches tall. We only had 3 shots, not the expected 4, but Henry handled them like a champ.
Henry is days away from being able to walk around the house without assistance. We are not sure if this a good or bad thing though!!

Chorus Concert 2008
The concert was great and we were very excited to see Mary's first performance. The first two songs went great, then Mary realized that they were showing Frosty the Snowman on the TV's in the food court at the Mall where the performance was held. Needless to say that was a bit of a distraction. Nonetheless, all the songs were sung and Mary had a great time singing with her friends.

While eating dinner tonight Mary proclaimed the "mashed potatoes" that she was eating tasted like "white beets".
Turns out our little trick of telling her that we were making "mashed potatoes" so she would eat them backfired on us. The "mashed potatoes" were actually turnips.
